Saxophonist Mindi Abair has recently taken over as hostess of the weekly syndicated radio show entitled "Chill With Chris Botti" now changed to "Chill With Mindi Abair". Obviously her predecessor was none other than the wildly popular trumpeter Chris Botti. I can imagine that with the extremely hectic schedule Botti has, having to tape the show on a weekly basis only gets in his way.

Abair had been co-hosting with Botti in April and officially took over during the April 30 program. I'm not particularly privy to the information as to why Botti was replaced, but Mindi Abair is a pretty good, though puzzling choice to fill the job.

Many radio stations, whether commercial (terrestrial) or internet streaming, fail simply because they can't focus on the target.

It's very easy to say "hey I have a database of 10,000 songs, I'll rotate them all and I'm sure the audience will love it." This is just like shooting 10,000 arrows into the air, maybe only 10 of those will hit the bullseye. In relation to your listeners, what happens when after 10 days they start leaving?
