Disc jockeys and commentators, especially the younger upcoming ones, have a tendency to copy the styles of those that they look up. That's natural, after all, isn't imitation the best form of flattery? In the world of broadcasting, especially where the announcers are concerned, copying is oftentimes done without discernment or discretion and the consequences can be extremely damning.

The big news from the past week is that of Don Imus. He uttered some very hurtful things but Imus has been contrite. Yet no one seems to be in a forgiving mood, considering we just celebrated Easter a few days ago.

For the Christian world, Easter marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ who died on the cross so that everyone's sins can be forgiven. With that premise, why is it still so hard for many, including the Reverends Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, to forgive Imus?
