ACH RADIO was a publicly available non-commercial, mp3 streaming internet radio station broadcasting today's top 40 hits and was available live 24/7. This was in 2001.

Our playlist reflected today's top 40 music played by radio stations all over the world that adopt the western-style CHR or Top 40 format. Therefore you got a good mix of pop, hip-hop, r & b, rock etc. If you hear it on syndicated radio shows like Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 or American Top 40 or read them in the Billboard top charts, then you'd have heard the same hit music on ACH Radio!

ACH Radio has now evolved into a portal with music, radio, artist news and streaming radio.

The blog is maintained by GOoseneck. He was a disc jockey and program director for more than eleven years from the mid 80's to the mid 90's. His specialty is CHR programming and is adept at using the RCS Selector scheduling software. \

Computers have always been a part of his activities, having owned an Apple IIe clone some time in 1985 and eventually progressing to the personal computer. He is at home with operating systems starting with MS-DOS to Windows to Linux. It comes as no surprise that his life after radio landed him in the information technology arena.

But as they say in the world of radio, "once a radio man, always a radio man". And so the ACH Radio blog is made up of articles that relates to radio, past and present. The author writes about his past experiences, radio programming, and views about the current state of radio whether traditional broadcast or streaming.
